The Monitoring Center provides high-quality monitoring
services for virtually every type of alarm system. Our services are compatible
with equipment from all of the industry's leading manufacturers including
DSC, Ademco, Paradox, Napco, Radionics, and more. Our experienced technicians
are able to install, trouble-shoot, and repair both hardwired and wireless
systems.
Nevertheless, from time-to-time, a prospective customer
may have an existing proprietary system. These systems are purposefully
designed to make it difficult, and in some cases impossible, to convert
the signaling devices to our Central Station. The existing alarm company
intentionally does this to dissuade customers from exercising their right
to select another monitoring company. In these rare cases, a customer
has two choices:
- Continue to be bound by their current provider and continue to pay higher monthly monitoring fees, or
- Switch to The Monitoring Center and immediately start saving on monthly monitoring fees.
In order to switch to TMC, a customer would simply have to
upgrade their existing Keypads and Control Panel to one of the open-architecture
systems we install, which would enable us to monitor the system. In order
to determine the type of system you currently have, the subsequent pages
of this section contain a select list of open-architecture Keypads, each
of which we can convert, without requiring any upgrade. However, there
are many other open-architecture systems that we support. So, if you don't
